Alpha’s Discovery Kids – We aim to provide warm consistent care to teach and nurture children in a loving, respectful manner. We provide child-initiated and teacher-supported experiences to foster children’s natural curiosity, exploration, play and inquiry.
Alpha’s Discovery Kids Preschool and Daycare has created an exceptional program to develop the whole child through an emergent, inquiry-based curriculum to provide each child with the best start for academic success. We focus on our four pillars of learning: Language/Literacy, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), physical activity/nutrition and mindful awareness. We provide child-initiated and teacher-supported learning experiences to foster children’s natural curiosity, exploration, play and inquiry. We observe and follow the children’s individual interests and plan experiences to maximize learning and children’s well-being. We believe in focusing on the individual child and plan according to each child’s unique strengths and areas of development. As a parent, you’ll take comfort in knowing that you’ll receive daily verbal and digital updates from the teacher in addition to a progress report for your child twice per year to let you know how your child is progressing and meeting key milestones.
