Basic Concepts Unlimited provides specialized educational services to the Early Childhood Development sector, schools and educational practitioners working with young children, particularly in the Foundation Phase (Grade R – Grade 3).

The organization makes use of the Basic Concepts Programme© to transform learning for young children. The program, developed by Dr Louis Benjamin in 2002, is a structured metacognitive intervention approach for educators to address language, learning, information processing, and socio-emotional barriers in young children, particularly from disadvantaged communities.
