We all know children use devices like smartphones, tablets, Chromebooks, and laptops at school and they also often use a vocabulary full of technical jargon that may seem completely foreign. One reason is that both tech-savvy and tech-hesitant parents are not always familiar with the world of education technology, or “edtech.” The truth is that education technology is an important part of education today and parents should feel excited – not intimidated – by what their children are able to learn and do.
