ODILO is considered by many as the “Netflix for Education” "In the last few days, we have implemented nationwide services for 12 Ministries of Education that consist of building ""Netflix-Style"" digital libraries customized for every country, aggregating content from thousands of content providers in multiple languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and more), and creating interactive reading programmes adapted to every country reading plan in order to support teachers. As a European Commission partner, we are partnering with all countries to support this non-profit programme. About the programme: 1. Offers students, educators, and families unlimited access to your own Netflix of Education where they can find thousands of digital resources from the best providers in the world (ebooks, academic reference works, magazines, audiobooks, language learning content, etc) in multiple languages. 2. Offers ready-to-use, interactive digital reading plans on the platform for all ages to encourage reading at home and to permit instructors to keep in contact with students. Each plan comes with questions and enriched texts already included to assist instructors in their work. 3. Offers a support and training service for instructors and families. The process for accessing the platform will be using a very simple access code system so that the platform can be up and running for users within a few days.
