1. Direct Instruction
The teacher provides intentional, targeted instruction addressing one of SiLAS’s 30 Social-Emotional skills. Practitioners are afforded the flexibility to provide Tiered instruction in a whole group, small group, or in a 1:1 setting.
2. Guided Practice
Teachers engage learners in a variety of skill-specific activities using the three principles of. UDL
3. Student Performance
Students demonstrate skill acquisition through the development of written scripts used to create animations using the SiLAS platform.
4. Assessment
Teachers have the ability to evaluate and monitor student progress through the use of built-in pre/post tests and lesson objective based rubrics.
