Soft Egg was founded by Ed Hyde and Paul Guinane to address the IT needs of schools. They saw a tremendous gap in the quality of IT support and services that schools received and the kind of support they really needed. They wanted to address this gap, enabling children, teachers and administrative staff in schools to perform their very best with a highly supportive and pro-active IT company which focused uniquely on schools. Soft Egg started life in Wokingham in 2008 with a good 100 mile catchment area. They quickly expanded into Bristol and its surrounding areas. By 2012 Soft Egg were working with enough Devon schools to open a small office in Exeter and soon expanded into Somerset and surrounding areas. Soft Egg continues to grow and expand through good word of mouth, recommendations and an innovative approach to IT in Education. Today, Soft Egg’s cloud services and unique support offering enables them to work with Primary Schools, Academies, Independent, Secondary, Colleges and Multi Academy Trusts across all of the UK.
