STORYWORLD™ is an interactive bilingual library with original, fully-illustrated stories that cover over 1500 common words and phrases in English, Spanish and Mandarin. Stories include non-fiction and cultural myths and legends.
STORYWORLD helps language learners (ELL, ESL, ELA, ELD) gain confidence by providing word-by-word audio and translation support. Every story is narrated in each language by a native speaker. Fun quizzes at the end of each story help to reinforce vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension and include practice in speaking and writing. A teacher’s Formative Evaluation Dashboard reports student activity, outcomes and oral and written expression for evaluation and follow-up, with a focus on identifying students at risk of falling behind.
