You will find in these pages the lecture material on which a Mathematica-based course (Physics 9) was based. It was taught for one quarter, in the spring of 1996. Below you will find links to all the material presented in the lectures, as well as the homework assignments and the final exam. Most lecture files are now in Mathematica 3.0 notebook format. They contain formatted equations and graphics and will require either Mathematica 3.0 or MathReader for proper displaying.
